Our 2024 competition is open!
Submit complete short fiction on any subject, up to 3,000 words.
Our judge this year is award-winning novelist and short story writer Leone Ross. The winning prize is a whopping £3,000 and three finalists will receive £100. The winner and finalists will be published in Mslexia, with eight additional finalists, along with the four winners, appearing in our ebook anthology Best Women's Short Fiction 2024.
