Our 2024 competition is now closed

Our judge this year is the writer, teacher and editor Mary-Jane Holmes. The competition winner will receive £500 and three finalists will receive £50. The winner and finalists will be published in Mslexia, with eight additional finalists, along with the four winners, appearing in our ebook anthology Best Women's Short Fiction 2024.
