Kris Johnson

Kris is the latest addition to the Mslexia team. Though she’s originally from Seattle, Washington, she holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Newcastle University where she spent the past seven years teaching on the BA and MA in Creative Writing. Her poetry has been published in journals including Ambit, Poetry London and The Rialto, and in 2019 she was awarded a DYCP grant from Arts Council England. Her first full-length collection, Ghost River, is forthcoming from Bloodaxe Books.
