Sarah Connell for She Lies in Shadow
Elle McNicoll (best-selling children’s novelist), Caroline Carpenter (Children’s Editor, Bookseller) and Clare Wallace (literary agent at Darley Anderson Children’s) decidied the winner of our 2024 Children’s & YA Novel Competition.
Our winners and finalists go on to be published at the highest level - including Imogen Hermes Gower with The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock, Polly Clark with Larchfield, Emily Howes with The Painters Daughters, Frances Perkins with The Seven Imperfect Rules of Elvira Carr, and many more, and we're excited to see what lies ahead for the Class of 2024.
