Our judge, Meg Pokrass, is a flash fiction expert, perfectly placed to find the very best of our entries, four of which will then will be published in Mslexia in March 2019.
The competition is open to women of any nationality from any country, and welcomes flash fiction of up to 300 words in length (not including the title). If you would also like to enter a short story, please click here.
All genres welcome. Please include a cover sheet for your entry.
For any questions about your entry, email email@example.com, or call 0191 204 8860.
Each entry fee allows you to submit one piece of flash fiction. If you would like to enter more than one piece, please ensure you select the correct number of entries below.
An entry form page will open automatically after payment. If this does not happen, or if you would like to send your work at a later date, please use the link in the payment confirmation email to access the entry form.
If you have left it until the last minute to enter and hit a snag whilst paying or uploading your work, please DO NOT panic: simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, with your details and your entry/ies attached, straight away (so that we know you tried to enter within the deadline). We will contact you when the office is open to confirm your entry and arrange payment if necessary.
