Women’s Short Fiction Competition 2017 – Flash Fiction

Three other finalists will each receive £50. All four winning stories will be published in the June issue of Mslexia.

We are so excited to announce the launch of the inaugural Mslexia Women’s Flash Fiction Competition, the newest addition to our competition roster and part of the new Women’s Short Fiction Competition. We wanted to introduce a category for those writers who prefer to keep their storytelling concise, to reflect the growing trend for short and concise storytelling. Our judge, Kit de Waal, is a flash fiction expert, perfectly placed to find the very best of our entries, four of which will then will be published in Mslexia in June 2017.

The competition is open to women of any nationality from any country, and welcomes flash fiction of up to 300 words in length (not including the title). If you would also like to enter a short story, please click here.
