  • 23 April, 5-7pm – Writer’s Block Surgery with Fiona Sampson

Kicking off our Max Summer Salon, we have Fiona Sampson joining us from 5-7pm on Monday, 23 April for the first surgery, focusing on inspiration and motivation (or lack thereof).

Fiona is an award-winning writer who has been published in more than thirty languages. She is the editor of Poem and Professor of Poetry at the University of Roehampton, where she directs the Poetry Centre. Her new biography, In Search of Mary Shelley, is a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week.

Just tell Fiona briefly about how you’re feeling stuck, and she’ll offer strategies or exercises to help bring you out of any bout of writer’s block you may be battling.

The thread will open for posts at 5pm Monday.
