Small Wonder Festival, 28 September 2018

If short stories are your bag, we hope to see you at the star-studded Small Wonder short story extravaganza in the newly refurbished Hay Barn at Charleston in Susses, where A L Kennedy will be premiering her Mslexia Monologue on 28 September and talking to Debbie (and you, if you’re there) about voice and all things short and storyish. The event is part of a starry line-up that includes Louise Doughty, Sarah Hall, Kate Mosse and K J Orr. Come along to the Mslexia stall before and afterwards if you fancy a chat.

7.30pm, Hay Barn, Charleston Trust, West Firle, Lewes BN8 6LL

Tickets: £10-£12 (all-day tickets are also available)

Comma Creative Writing Graduate Fair, 2 November 2018

If this fair is anything like last year’s, it will be a hectic whirl of getting published events and one-to-ones with agents and editors. We’ll be at the Mslexia stall all day.

Lapidus/Metanoia Writing and Wellbeing Weekend Conference, 1-2 December

Mslexia has been working with Lapidus (the professional organisation for therapists who use writing as part of their practice) to promote ‘safeguarding’ training for anyone running a writing workshop. This conference is the first step in that process. If you teach writing in educational, social care or community settings, do come along and share your experiences. Do come along and talk to use at the Mslexia stall.
