Social Media & Community Facilitator
The Social Media & Community Facilitator has their finger on the pulse of the UK writing community. They are creative, organised and passionate about growing and enriching Mslexia’s audience. The ideal candidate is a team worker, keen to contribute to the department’s advertising and outreach goals. They are familiar with both publishing and creative writing subject matter and will serve as the voice of the audience within the organisation.
The marketing team is responsible for delivering all of Mslexia’s print, digital, PR and social marketing needs as well as managing and meeting the company’s sales and advertising targets.
The Social Media & Community Facilitator is responsible for running all of the company’s social media platforms to promote and support its publications, events and other activities and products. The role also includes facilitating and programming events on the online community Mslexia Max, delivering the company’s PR activities, and some copywriting for the company’s publications and marketing materials.
This role requires someone with excellent forward-planning skills, an interest in the written word and a clear defined authorial voice.
